I think I might have the wrong Restore & Recovery Floppy. The original owner I got this computer from, said the he used the Master CD and Restore & Recovery Floppy before, but he was not specific on how he used them. When I put the media into the appropriate drive, and boot the computer it says “Insert bootable media into the appropriate drive.” It was supposed to go into the Packard Bell Restore Menu, not say this. I have the Master CD and recovery disks but the computer keeps saying that the CD ROM is undetectable when it is connected. Now, I tried using my Original Packard Bell Master CD Version: 170580 and the Restore & Recovery Floppy Version 2.2W. I got a Packard Bell Platinum 1 and replaced the hard drive for a 2GB Compact Flash, the original hard drive was 1.2GB. CD-RDM Drive with CD-Audio Player Call for Included 379 Software Titles. It attempts to reinstall from a recovery partition, so this is essentially useless. However, this doesnt really matter, as the CD doesnt actually hold Windows. This copy has had a check to ensure youre running it on an actual Packard Bell removed, allowing anyone to run it. You will need to burn each CD to a CD-R, then place in CD-1, press F8 for boot options, choose your disk drive and then allow the system to boot. The collection includes a broad range of software related materials including shareware. These are three ISOs that make up the original recovery media for most Packard Bell iMedia systems built in 2003/04. You guys may realize me from the Packard Bell Thread. This is a copy of a Packard Bell Master Recovery CD from August 1998.
